Borroloola is a remote town located in the Gulf of Carpentaria region of the Northern Territory, Australia. It is the traditional land of the Yanyuwa, Garrwa, Mara, Gurdanji and Bambudji peoples.

How to Get There

The most popular way to get to Borroloola is by car. It is about 1,000 kilometers south-east of Darwin and 980 kilometers north-east of Alice Springs. You can also fly into the McArthur River Mine Airport, which is approximately 50 kilometers from Borroloola.
